Tara Britton Wilkins
Artist Statement
I create jewelry that helps the wearer transcend the day-to-day normalcy of life. Combining the traditional crafts of metalsmithing and lace making, I devise pieces that reference the old world, but are ready for a new fantastical world. While history inspires me, I transform these influences into provocative and whimsical pieces.
